Health and Wellness Writers, Medical Marketers see Social Media as the Way to Go

According to Ellyn Angelotti of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, “Breaking news is no longer passive, but interactive.  Social media empower anyone with a cellphone or internet connection to access news and leth them share information with the world”.

Clearly this will then be the way that we acquire information for our health and wellness as well as information for our medical care.

The impressive statistics speak for themselves.  Twitter has greater than 175 million global participants and Facebook has greater than 500 million active users globally.

Have a medical question or healthcare problem?  Blast it over your social media sites to your “friends” and it won’t be long before health care writers and medical writers respond to your need.
